Legendary Ruhn Hills

You are greeted by the castle keep of the former Gänseburg in Putlitz. From here, you can see the Ruhn Hills. Their 176 metres make them the second-highest spot in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, and they are located right at the border to Prignitz.

The way up through the woods to the observation tower offers interesting readings: the stories of the treasure in the hill, the ghost at the hollow tree, and the giant who blows away the clouds above the lands are put on information boards along the way in Low German and standard German. On top of the tower you have a spectactular panoramic view over the fields.
